Omega Welcomes Ty Kronk to Our Customer Support Team

Omega Airline Software is pleased to announce Typhon “Ty” Kronk as the newest member of the customer support team. Mr. Kronk will serve as the Vice President of Customer Engagement and will be responsible for all aspects of customer support including troubleshooting and applications to maintenance programs.

“Ty’s knowledge of the industry and his experience working with the Ames software program as a customer gives him a unique perspective and makes him an invaluable resource for customer support for Omega,” said Richard Reno, Chief Executive Officer of Omega Airline Software, Inc. “We are honored to have him as a member of our team and look forward to his insight as we continue to improve Ames software and grow our business around the world,” he said.

Ty Kronk is an Aerospace professional experienced in all aspects of Business Jet Technical Operations. Mr. Kronk’s 25 years in private aviation have been with worldwide leaders such as NetJets, Jet Linx, XOJet Aviation, and Vista Jet. This includes managing or providing consultation for aircraft assets in operation and during maintenance events.

He has held executive-level positions with multiple organizations responsible for the aircraft maintenance operations of the part 135 certificate’s including thousands of flights and related maintenance events each month. Managing regulatory, cost, and service goals for the aircraft maintenance team, Mr. Kronk formalized the technical operations while developing and implementing the maintenance planning and engineering departments, and enterprise maintenance tracking systems integrating with internally developed, industry-leading applications.

On multiple occasions, he merged disparate operating certificates and workforces into one cohesive team. Each occasion gained FAA approval for organizational structure, operating manuals, and conformed aircraft. Mr. Kronk held various other roles including demand forecasting, analysis, budgeting, negotiations, etc.

Prior to joining the private sector, Mr. Kronk served with distinction in the United States Air Force as a Dedicated Crew Chief/Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Systems for the F-117A Stealth Fighter, in Alamogordo, NM.

Mr. Kronk holds both Master’s (M.S) and Bachelor’s (B.S.) degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, is an FAA-licensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic and Private Pilot, and has received the FAA’s Maintenance Technician Gold and Bronze Awards.
