planning for the future - planning for success

Event Scheduler

After the plan is built and approved the organization’s next task is to make it a reality. The Event Scheduler maintains the mid-range production schedule (3-18 months). MRO Management manages labor and facilities, providing detailed labor and capacity planning functionality. Package Writer lets planners attach open items to schedule events, building packages based on budgetary or labor constraints. Line/RON Scheduling lets planners build and schedule line and RON visits and send the packages to the maintenance facilities over the network. Short Term Scheduler lets schedulers make discrete changes to the production schedule as events come closer to their induction dates to match the long range plan to the reality of production. What started as a general long range plan has now been transformed into a detailed plan passed to production for execution.
