About Omega Airline Software

Omega Airline Software is a privately owned company with headquarters in the Dallas, TX area. Airline maintenance software veteran Richard Reno founded OAS in 1992.

“Airlines are in the business of flying people, not maintaining aircraft. Ames allows you to efficiently plan maintenance and reduce the number of aircraft required out of the schedule, especially during predefined peak schedules. By doing so, maintenance increases the number of aircraft available to the operation to schedule. There are many ways that this is a value to all airlines. One way is that less aircraft in maintenance means more flying without purchasing and maintaining additional aircraft” - Bronya McAdams, Senior Planner, Continental Airlines

Richard, who has spent 20 years in maintenance planning and information technology for American and Continental Airlines, knows how crucial efficient and complete maintenance scheduling is to the business of running an airline. The objective of the OAS staff is to provide optimum functionality in maintenance planning as well as excellence in customer service.
